It was pretty bad, but Sony's Black Ops 3 PS4 the following year was ever uglier. Who thought that bright orange thumbsticks and d-pad for the controller was a good idea? And the console design is just lazy. Hopefully MS makes a nice looking Black Ops 4 custom Xbox One X if they did get marketing this year. 

Omg I stand corrected. Actually IIRC there was a horrific Battlefront PS4 also.

Holy shit it does. At least the Black Ops one is still uglier. The controller in the GoW bundle is not bad. That console though lol.

Oh yeah, forgot about that ugly camo WW2 PS4 Slim and Minecraft XB1 S, they were so bad I guess I wiped them from my memory. This gen has had alot of ugly limited edition console designs honestly, I thought the sky blue Uncharted 4 PS4 was pretty bad as well. But there have been some good designs this gen, the Metal Gear Solid V PS4 and Halo 5 XB1 were nice. Nothing comes close to the Star Wars 360 last gen though, I am legit sad I didn't get one. 

The Star Wars is just gorgeous.

Being a star wars fan and how much some people are willing to pay for those consoles ,I ended up getting both, the Battlefront PS4 and PS4 Pro.

I actually don’t think that console is bad. There are a lot of details, and it looks like a lot went into designing it. I also don’t think the BO3 ps4 was terrible (tho not great, either). But the 2017 LE ps4’s for CODWW2 and BF2 were awful and lazy. Looked like they just slapped stickers on there.
