Why are you only taking into account domestic gross to define the most popular? Not saying that the nominees would change, but shouldnt worldwide gross be the criteria?

I still haven't seen Jumanji though.

Fun thread. Kinda fills that MTV movie awards niche. There's a reason these weren't Oscars contenders, though haha.

Data I could find that was consistent. International lists were all over the map in terms of revenue and ranking.  It is not meant to be that serious and if people think Wolf Warrior 2 is that deserving I take no issue someone making a thread they feel has complete international data within it.

Spiderman was definitely a good movie, cool story and I loved the high school setting, gave it a cool vibe.

God of Thunder reigns supreme among VGC crowd in a tight race.

Looks like we are very much in the Age of Marvel.  (GotG 2 got 7 votes, which ain't too shabby either.)  At least on these boards Marvel even outranks Star Wars.

Generally speaking I would rank Star Wars above Marvel without hesitation but The Last Jedi was so disappointing that I couldn't vote for it.

Ah, I should have voted, I would have went with Spider-Man which would have knocked it at least into tied 2nd.
