Bayonetta 2 wasn't a console/PC "exclusive" so it wouldn't be quite the same

MS would toss it on PC?, like Halo 5 and all the other Halo's?.

Because only 1 is on PC, as far as things go

Well it would be a 3rd party exclusive. Have they got a single 3rd party "exclusive" that isn't also on PC?

I was more talking about buying an IP and building it up for their X1, like they built up Halo, and then never ported the rest to PC

Well even then they bought Gears of War much more recently than Halo and that's made it's way to PC.

They've had Halo and Gears for years though.

I'm talking Bayonetta 2 style, where they obtain an existing IP, and fund it themselves, making it exclusive to their system.

So like Rise of the Tomb Raider? Yeah... that's why I'm saying Microsoft has a tendency to make those games "exclusive" to Xbox and PC rather than actually exclusive to just Xbox.

I don't think you and I are on the same wavelength of this joke

I said Bayo 2 style and then you included PC, to which we've now included TR, which isn't actually exclusive at all. So we've gone from Bayo 2-3 (both of which are tied firmly to the Switch, not going anywhere else) to a third party multiplat game, that was never fully exclusive in the first place.

When I say "like Bayo 2", I literally mean to the note "like Bayo 2". No PC, no bought for timed exclusivity, none of that.

Rumor going around that Vanquish 2 is an Xbox exclusive so that could be it.

This guy has zero credibility to be honest. Just look on his twitter to see all the BS he has made up. For example, he said Nier Automata will come to Switch in March.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

relic, a sega-owned studio, is making Age of Empires IV, which will be published by microsoft. Maybe its in regards to that.

That is probably it.  It would be nice if it was something else also since I never played a Age of Empires game and I have no plans in playing the fourth one.

You may mean actual exclusivity. But as long as we're talking about Microsoft I don't think that's at all likely to actually happen.

There was never a term called "actual exclusivity". I said "like Bayo 2", and that meant making it *exclusive*.

You went in a circle adding PC and then a 3rd party multiplat title, even though I'd said "like Bayo 2".

I know you don't think it's likely to happen, but I was going on about it being fun to see happen. Dikigaf about the hat drop chances of it happening in this reality.
