This is gonna be a tight one.......
Spiderman, RDR2, GoW and a possible price cut.. We can say that 2018 has a good argument going for it.
Forgive me if I'm just being stupid, but the gap numbers between 2017 and 2018 don't make sense. I find discrepancies in some if not all of the first 4 weeks, most importantly culminating in the gap between the totals being incorrect.
2017 has a total of 1,195,113 after week 4, 2018 has a total of 1,296,349. So that's a lead of 101,236 for 2018. But the yearly difference shows as 106,488 in favour of 2018 as I understand it.
I've been racking my brains over this just in case I'm being mental, so if I am, again, I apologise,. If not, is there a reason the gap number (general totals for each week seem to add correctly) are off?
Is there an NPD specific thread? Looks like Switch kicked arse and Xbox is back in 3rd place again.
Nah, you're right. It seems I made some miscalculations in my math. The numbers should be accurate now. Thank you for bringing it to my attention!

Will be difficult to keep up with 2017 to start with, as it had a phenomenal early year, but 2018 can regain some ground in the holidays, which were 2017's weak point.
