There is now way sell through was at 13 million as of yesterday. That would imply that there were over 2 million consoles sitting in channels. This console is not easy to find. Calling total bs on that claim.

the units are in transit, just look at japan numbers, nintendo shipped 3.72 million, as of december 31, yet 1 month later, and it still hasn't sold that many, as for the US, and europe, stock is great, except for amazon sometimes, every other major retailer is fully stocked.

Adjustments made, Europe numbers back to normal.

Okay, why do the Switch hardware numbers for December 30th keep getting lowered?

Nintendo just released "surpassed 13m" to consumers, so 13.8m that it was at previously for 30th December seems too high.

Do you realise the 6 months briefing was during the end of november with numbers from april 1st to october 31, and Super Mario Odyssey was released in october the 27th ? So basically 3 days before the 6 months and not after as you suggested it ?

Once again, your "proof" isn't one, it just confirms what everyone except you understand properly

this is 100% incorrect, the 6 month briefing  period was till September 30.  and if what you say is correct  which its not then the 9 month briefing would be till jan 30.

You're right. About september the 30th, not about  the sales.

well I just want things reported correctly.

If you know what is correct, why didn't you answer my question?

According to him, the Switch will hardly beat Wii U sales during its lifetime, that's what is correct to him

It should be 13.4 sold  through by jan 20, like nintendo chart show, and what nintendo reporting, 12.76 million by December 30. based on nintendo 10 million sold through by december 10, there is no possible way they should be over 13 million as of the 30 based on the numbers we have from NPD, media create., and nintedo sell though as of december 10.

so i'm right huh, then give me a good reason why nintedo would use 1 month old sell through numbers, when there is nothing stopping from using recent ones, as you can see from the 6 moths briefing, they can report numbers out side that period, then you have the chart which goes up to week 47, what else more proof do you need? also sell through numbers always use recent dates.

Don't the three charts combined only show ~12.5m sell-through for North America, Europe and Japan?

yea it's not hard to imagine another 700-900k in the ROTW, but as you can see from the charts they are point based on the npd and media create numbers we have.

Considering that all 3 regions seem to be dead on halfway between the million marks (.5m) it seems likely the numbers were rounded to the nearest half million when making the graphs.

But yeah I don't know where the 13.4m figure is coming from. All we know is that NA+EU+Japan>13m as of January 21st. Which is enough to suggest 13.8m as of December 30th may have been a little enthusiastic, but beyond that not much.

Maybe it's for a launch in China soon ? I dont know but i also find it weird cause where are those 2 millions of Japan is still never in stock and there is still some, minor, stock issues in America.
