 Apparently so. If it is outperforming other Mario Karts out of the gate, why wouldn't we be surprised? Then considering that many traditional series aren't preforming as strong in Japan on the Wii, like Zelda and Mario. Everyone, including myself, thought Mario Galaxy would sell a lot more than it has in Japan, and a lot of that assumption came from the sales of NSMB on the DS. The Zelda and Mario games are selling a lot better on the DS than they are the Wii over there, so that probably stifled a lot of expectations for MK Wii.

yes, SMG stop selling, that is why still selling 70k WW, bigger legs than any PS3 game.

Hmm I did say "Based on reservations for the game at the retailer used in these reports, the debut should be north of ~250,000-300,000 although it’s obviously difficult to estimate when people are reserving the game even as this sentence is being written" in the most recent Japan Preview written five days ago.

 Galaxy did 260k in Japan on 1st WEEK and is now 4 months later ONLY at 6.3 millions worldwide ( we can estimate it to do around 11 milions on life time, based on Mario 64 or NSM)

 

Seing that Mario Kart (Which is more popular btw) will do like 450k 1st Week, we can expect it to be around 8 millions in 4 months and maybe 14 Millions end of life.

 who said it s  not selling ?
