OK to summarize this.

Before this announcement: "OMG Nintendo should innovate and not just releasing sequels to Mario, Zelda and Metroid!"

After this announcement: "OMG Nintendo are stupid and doomed this is shit, Nintendo should stick to just release Mario, Zelda and Metroid sequels!"

Yup yup the usual Nintendoomed crowd.


To me this seems kind of neat. But I will admit I'm not interested enough to get this for myself. But I'm considering this to play around with my oldest. The price doesn't bother me since it probably includes the software, my guess (as mentioned before) is that just the cardboard cutouts will be around $10-20, and if you are a bit nifty you can probably make your own by copying the outline of one of these to a piece of cardboard you cut out by yourself.

Nintendo engineers are from a another planet with this stuff, and thats a good thing.

Looks great for kids and i mean kids kids.... i personally wont go near it, especially at that price.

Nintendo's selling cardboard, and it's going to make a killing. Why do I play video games again?

Well, now we finally know why Nintendo expects to sell so many Switchs this year. This thing is going to be MASSIVE. Congrats to Nintendo for successfully winning both the core fans and now the casuals back over with one system.

If that camera goes on sale and a Fatal Frame game does not immediately follow, I will most definitely be disappointed at the missed opportunity.

I'm guessing all the constructs shown on the reveal that aren't included in the variety pack like the control stick, camera, steering wheel & pedal, bird and gun-like construct will be available in a 2nd variety pack.

That Fatal Frame game would have to be a rail shooter like Pokemon Snap since the camera uses both joy-cons
