OK to summarize this.
Before this announcement: "OMG Nintendo should innovate and not just releasing sequels to Mario, Zelda and Metroid!"
After this announcement: "OMG Nintendo are stupid and doomed this is shit, Nintendo should stick to just release Mario, Zelda and Metroid sequels!"
Yup yup the usual Nintendoomed crowd.
To me this seems kind of neat. But I will admit I'm not interested enough to get this for myself. But I'm considering this to play around with my oldest. The price doesn't bother me since it probably includes the software, my guess (as mentioned before) is that just the cardboard cutouts will be around $10-20, and if you are a bit nifty you can probably make your own by copying the outline of one of these to a piece of cardboard you cut out by yourself.
