$70 for cardboard?!?! Since this is marketed towards kids this is brilliant, they'll break the boxes in like 2 days. I'll wait for someone to post the PDF schematics on youtube.

It's $70 because it is a game, a physical game that includes the cardboards..

I've read a few posts here and there, that say this shouldn't exist, that Nintendo should focus only on games for THEM. That valid gaming can't belong to anyone else.

This has to be dealt with....

I could have sworn i saw a report that they will give out free cardboard replacements.

Someone posted the article in a different thread, its on the front page so check it out.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I think young kids will like it.

Did people actually see the pricetag they are asking? Am I the only one who thinks that this is downright embarrassing? Oh well, time to wait for the MP4 direct.

For just cardboard, it would be embarrassing. But the game(s) included normally would cost 60$ without the cardboard, so the surplus in price is acceptable if the games are actually fun. Just the 10$ Sticker pack is a bit too high priced imo.

Wish you could play ARMS with that Robo kit, too

    Polygon:

    "
WHAT IF I NEED TO REPLACE MY TOY-CON TEMPLATES?
Nintendo will sell replacement Toy-Con kits, including templates and cardboard pieces
    "

    Many other sites:

    "
Nintendo plans to offer replacement cardboard kits and templates for players who break theirs
    "

Nobody has stated free, and Polygon has stated "sell".
Labo website seems to look like it will sell tape and sticker sets, so the chances of them also giving out free replacement card sets is low to zero.

I think the direct mini 2.0 still missing and will come in january + real direct in february.

I’m just amazed to see Dark Souls at #6 despite being 3 months away from release.

But , in regards to Labo, I guess the $70-80 price tag isn’t as problematic as most users thought. I’m curious to see how it charts going forward up until release.

Once again, big news in the gaming world makes VGC inaccessible for several hours. I assume I wasn't the only one. As to the product revealed: Um. It's going to be an interesting one to follow. A gift to the forums to be sure. My personal level of interest as a consumer might only be detectable by the machines being used to find dark matter, but I can see it being a hit.
