I'm interested in what people think he did that was so wrong? The worst I can think of is that he missed non-verbal clues, which we don't even know what they were. Or that he didn't ask to start kissing her? What are people mad about, specifically?

They are mad he have a penis but didn't let the girl take command from start to end.

I think we can agree we don't know if she really gave the signals and what they were, I think we can agree that when she was clear he stopped, I think we can agree that when you accuse someone of something as bad as rapist you shouldn't be making light use of the term.

i don't know, i was not there, but she mentions that he disregarded non-verbal cues when she gave her account of the events that transpired between her and ansari

can we agree that communication is done primarily with non-verbal cues during sexual interactions?

Without knowing exactly what they were, I think its pretty difficult to place blame on anyone. Non-verbal could be anything from shoving a person away to just not doing things in an overly excited way. We just have no idea.

While I definitely feel like Ansari is innocent and that all of this is just an awkward date that ended badly for all parties involved, calling her a whore that should be thankful for the great honour of sucking a celebrity's dick like she's living in feudal Europe is way over the line.

If your goal was to produce a response with the same maturity level one would expect from a post written by those demanding Ansari to be executed on the spot then you certainly succeeded.

He didn't force himself on her to gratify himself, I mean he stopped as soon as she said NO. Nobody is an expert in non-verbal cues in that type of situation, much less if she had no issue doing oral. If she didn't want none of that, why didn't she state so before things got to the point?

Non-verbal cue can be clear, but how would you know if the ones she gave were? If he was disregarding her cues and is a rapist why would he stop when she said no, why would she stay hugged with him while waiting for the cab, why would she call later?
