He was just on ResetERA and stated expect another mini direct is set for Thursday but he was wrong about Fire Emblem. Since according to him it still won't show up there. But he said there will be a full length direct in February but aint sure if Fire Emblem will be in that one either.

he posted on twitter Fire Emblem was supposed come out in the first half of the year but has been delayed to Fall due the choice of making it a worldwide release and doubles down on the no showing on the 18th but there will be a direct in Febuary and even said says Yoshi and Dragon Quest 11 will be there.

An update on my findings

The reveal isn't happening on the 18th, as it turns out it doesn't belong there either. The broadcast on that day will be for other things

Here's a quick summary of what Chrom said so that there's no confusion:

-There will be a Mini Direct on Thursday.
- It will be shorter than last week's Direct.
-He has no idea what's actually in it, besides "games and accessories".
-Says they're planning a much bigger Direct for February.
-It will not focus on a single game or franchise.

That would be the weirdest strategy if that's true. If it means more announcements,cool,but I don't think Nintendo ever did something like this, like, putting a bunch of direct so close together.
