That's the reason I buy Nintendo machines everytime, exclusives to one of the best reasons to buy it
Since games like COD, FIFA, GTA & others sell really well and aren't exclusives some started saying that exclusives doesn't matter
It's not the only reason Ps4 is winning, Sony has it's working model trying to reach the majority of players everywhere and they Excel at that, Microsoft on the other hand concentrates more on service and that's what they are good at

And yet logical thinking should of told you that you need evidence n proof i.e. sales to know (not just assume) if it had an effect.

"You don't.  You just buy the console based on the games you want regardless how well the console might sell.  But the more choices you give to consumers (variety), the more consumers you are going to attract.  Console history has proven this."

Admittedly I just couldn't make sense of your post lol. The only way to not know is to not look at sales, and if you are looking at sales then you do know, so to say "you don't know" but then to say "console history has proven this" seems contradictory, but I didn't care enough to point this out initially.

I know a married couple that are friends of mine. They are traditionally big on Xbox but ended up getting a PS4 before Black Friday and the 2 games I've seen them play so far; Crash Bandicoot Insane Trilogy and God of War 3 Remaster. Exclusives drives systems.
