Forums - Gaming - Wild gaming rumours on reddit

Almost all of these Nintendo-related things seem plausible, but it's a bit too many games at once. This feels like a typical fake rumour.

It looks too good to be true.

He actually had two separate lists, one was the correct SF5 list and I saw that before the reveal, I'm absolutely positive. I definitely think this guy has inside info on Injustice 2, SF5 and Soul Calibur, everything else is anyone's guess, really.

Even without Blanka, I'd consider that list close enough to not be a guess. It's just that I read some comments about him editing his SFV list, and supposedly copying what someone else said: "You definitely copied Flowtron because you first said it that new Final Fight characters and a Shadaloo doll was coming. Then you started editing your posts as new information came to light from others."

So without knowing much about this, it sounds like the list you saw could have been based on hints that came from someone else?
But if not, I'm curious what it is people claim he got wrong. The only thing I can see by skimming his list is DMC5 at PSX. But that could just have been moved to E3.

I saw the list when it was first posted and I don't think it was edited. I've seen a lot of people say that, but I really don't recall it being at all. Flowtron, by the way, leaked the roster for last year's Street Fighter season, and was accurate with this year's (only he said Sakura, Blanka, Sagat, Mayor (Cody), President (G) and Waifu (Falke)". So presumably, Cody takes over as mayor in Metro City, if he doesn't, then Flowtron was just as inaccurate as this guy's first list.

As for what people claim he got wrong:

DMC5 at PSX
SC6 for Nintendo Switch
Four additional characters for SF5 AE that aren't part of Season 3 (Oro, Viper, Necro and Q), though he's adamant that they're still coming some time this year. He's said that they'll be released as regular DLC for AE purchasers, but as a free addon for anyone who owns the original SF5 as a thank you for supporting the game right out of the gate.

We can't really know about the SF5 AE stuff yet, but he's adamant it's going to happen this year. SC6 Switch and DMC5 obviously didn't happen, but like you said, announcements could very well just have been delayed.

None of the Switch stuff seems too far fetched really for the most part, but I find this hard to believe simply because how would this one person apparently have so many sources to know about stuff from so many different companies?

And some of this stuff seems random, like why would Nier:Automata be a game that Nintendo, according to this person, 'really wants ported to the Switch'.

In terms of some of the apparent 'leaks' though:

- I think a Wonderful 101 port will happen since Kamiya tweeted a picture of those characters holding Joy-cons not too long ago and the fact that Bayonetta 1 + 2 are being ported.

- GTAV and Read Dead Redemption are possible and I could see it happening since Rockstar seems on board with the Switch for now after releasing LA Noire on it, though perhaps it depends on how that sold.

- I could also see Fortnite coming to the system simply because the devs might see the Switch as a console where they can profit off of being the only battle royale type game on it for a while (assuming that PUBG ever comes to Switch).

- Hearthstone I think was hinted at before for Switch as well so that wouldn't surprise me.

Again none of the Switch stuff seems too far fetched to happen, I just doubt this is real cause how would one person have so much info on all this different stuff. Reads like someone just threw together a wishlist sort of.

If this stuff does turn out to be true though that's a damn good amount of big games coming to the system.

I don't think they need insiders at many different companies. Just insiders at Nintendo. They likely know about many third party games coming to Switch this year.

Ah ok yeah, I guess that would make more sense.

So why would Nintendo port Wonderfull 101??? This list is incredibly fake.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8808363

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=9008994

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

CoD part could be true. Treyarch are developing the new CoD and they had BO2 and BO1 on a Nintendo system.

Red Dead Redemption is probably not going to happen. When wondering about the lack of PC version, people always talk about the game's development woes, which make porting the game difficult. I don't know how troubled the game's development was in reality, but that's what I always hear. Anyway, my point is that if a PC version hasn't happened yet, a Switch version isn't likely either - unless the game's getting ported to PC as well.

"President" presumably being a reference to G's Uncle Sam "I want you" pose. Yeah that all sounds very accurate in the case of Flowtron.
If you saw this Leakyleaks list early on, then I'll go back to the stance I had on this guy before I read those comments, which was that it sounds like he has some reliable inside connections.

As for the things he got wrong, yeah most of those things could very well be revealed at a later date. I also got the impression from Maximillian that he was fairly convinced that DMC5 was coming. He tweeted a picture of Han Solo saying "It's true. All of it" in reference to it. And since he knows people in the industry, I figured he might have heard something.
I remember when USF4 was coming, and F-Champ talked about the W-Ultra system in a video, before it was announced. He didn't treat it as a rumor. He treated it like it was a fact. And because of how he spoke of it with certainty, I figured he heard something from someone at Capcom. *Cough*Combofiend*Cough*

I'll definitely keep an eye on these and see how many come true.
The additional Season 3 characters is an interesting thing that I actually considered as well, the moment they revealed all 6 characters right away.
And regarding base for Goku and Vegeta, I wonder if that could be Ultra Instinct Goku and Vegeta.

Hah yeah, gotta take it with a grain of salt, but the dude's been right more than he's been wrong so far.

As for Goku and Vegeta, that's what a lot of people have been saying lately, that it could be UI instead. I'm not caught up with Super so I don't know, haha.
