6. Super Mario Odyssey. Around 30 hours.
7. Cossacks II: Battle for Europe. Around 26 hours.

How on Earth did Stardew Valley become the most played game of the year!? I only played it during a month!

Probably something like this:
Smash 4 - infinite
BotW - was like 120 hours on my first playthrough before DLC, I started a second playthrough a few days ago
Splatoon 2 - 80 hours or so
Stardew Valley - 60 hours total, probably 50 from this year
ALBW - started speedrunning this one (and still haven't finished it once!), should be over 30 hours played this year, but honestly don't know
Super Mario Odyssey - 40 hours or so? Havent checked in a while

Persona 5 - 170 Hours
Zelda BOTW - 45 Hours
Splatoon 2 - 40 Hours

Nothing else too notable tbh.

1. PS4 - EDF 4.1 Shadow Of New Despair + 2 dlc packs - 503 hours

2. Vita - Hyperdimension Neptunia: Re;Birth 1 + dlc - 122 hours

3. Vita - Dragon's Crown - Around 80-90 hours

4. PS3 - Yakuza 5 - Around 60 hours + another 60 in 2016

5. PS3 - Dishonored + 2 dlc packs - estimate - around 50 hours

6. PS3 - EDF 2025 + 1 dlc pack - estimate - around 40 hours + another 70 in 2016

7. PS4 - Hitman - estimate - Around 30 hours

8. PS3 - Hotline:Miami estimate - Around 30 hours

9. PS4 - Everybody's Gone To The Rapture - estimate - around 25 hours

Those are the big ones. 1, 2, 3, and 5 have in game clocks. I think Dragon's Crown has a game clock, but my estimate is solid.

PS4 doesn’t really track time played but I played Battlefield 1 and Middle-earth: Shadows of War the most.
Looking at the app/website for both games, I’d assume I clocked 200 hours for Battlefield 1 and that includes the single player campaign, so the majority of my time was in multiplayer. My multiplayer total is 195 hours and that includes time played in 2016 which was about 20 hours.
Middle-earth clocked in at 123 hours or 5 days and 3 hours of game time according to WBPlay.

But, also I played a lot of games, and managed to get 10 platinums this year alone.

FFXIV Stormblood- Who knows? 250 hours+?

League of Legends (got Ranked Plat IV) - Who knows? I estimate 200 hours+

Dragon Quest Heroes 2 (Got the platinum trophy) - 120 hours

Persona 5 - 80 hours

Nioh - 80 hours

FFXV- 60 hours

Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain - 50 hours

Just Cause 3 -50 hours

Metro Last Light - 15 hours

Uncharted 4 - 12 hours

Darksiders 2- 10 hours

Dying Light- 2 hours

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.
I calculate around 200-250hrs.
