I think the differences are in the bundles
so these numbers are units sold to retailers (not including bundless) from 1/3/07 to 1/03/08

...Or VGC is just off by alot.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
I'm not sure what to do with the ones that have been overtracked, because they don't include all the places the games are on sale. Canada is between 6-12% of the Us sales alone, based on the last figures i saw. Once you add in Japan and some parts of others they could make up to 25% for some games. Like the Hockey one in Canada.
It would be nice to hear ioi add some insite to what he feels about these numbers. It looks like alot of games are overtracked even with our numbers added for the missed areas.
How seriously can we take this list? Look at the games that are missing from it. RE 4 Wii, Rock Band, Resistance, Brain Training, I am sure there are more. Does anyone think they sold less than 460k in the last year?
I'm trying to find which one of those we have concrete info about shipment numbers that would conflict with it. I know Kane and Lynch shipped 1 million quite a long time ago, i'd be pretty shocked if it only sold 590k. Also didn't we get a report that Turok also shipped a million a few weeks ago? I doubt it would be only at 500k if that's the case.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

?
Resident Evil 4 Wii and Rock Band are not missing.
Brain Training and Resistance are not included because there are only games included, which were released between 03/01/2007 and 03/01/2008

A few answers:
#1. The Next-Gen.biz sales numbers include Canada, the US, Mexico, and Western Europe.
#2. The VGC numbers do not include any Japanese numbers whatsoever.
So the comparison of VGC to NG.B is including everything proper, unless otherwise noted, expect for Austrailia, and the "other" other markets like India, China, South Korea, and such.
Which would point me to believe that there are a few titles severely overtracked, and a few undertracked by VGC. Some numbers seem 100% accurate outside of VGC not having accurate PAL info, and some are just.....Horrible, like Heavenly Sword and Pokemon D/P.

thats pretty tight!
to start i was like WTF NHL 08 is first! haha then i realized it went from least to most! lol
I've heard this list only includes Canada, US, Mexico and England and no other European countries.
Edit: at least not all European countries, but I'm probably wrong.
Im a little skeptical of this list. It doens't cite where is got its EU numbers.
