PS2 was exactly the same. The most incredible rubbish is published on that system, still it also had a lot of very good games.
Rubbish sells, face it. Who cares?
I feel that Wii's library is about to match that of Gamecube and N64 at this moment. The only thing missing is a few good RPG's.
Mario Galaxy: Best platformer in years (+game of the year)
Zelda TP: Maybe not the best Zelda ever, but objectively seen an amazing game.
Fire Emblem RD: Most hardcore game of any current gen system available
RE4Wii: What a blast to control one of the best games ever with the Wiimote
Zack & Wiki: Just amazing
Ghost Squad/House ot Dead/RE:UC: Return of the lightgun shooters!
Super Smash Bros Brawl: no words needed
VC: A sh#tload of magnificent games to download
And then we have:
Metroid 3, Super Paper Mario, Guitar Hero, Mario Kart.
And coming:
Tales of Symphonia 2, Okami, Fatal Frame 4, Project O, Fragile, FFCC, De Blob, Boom Blox, WiiWare....
I really don't understand why so many people are complaining about wii's software library. It's great and it's growing at a very steady rate. Why complain about shovelware you're not going to buy anyway? That's not meant for gamers like people that visit VGChartz, but respect that there are actually people that like it.
As for wii domination: that has nothing to do with software, it's the other way around. The great games will come (see Monster Hunter) because Wii is dominating. Wii only needed one game to become successful and that was WiiSports.
