Not sure what you're up to Rol but here you go.http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8653126

Uh oh! All im gonna say is i have seen switches all over (not big on stock problem). I live in northern NJ where its the most populated place (next to nyc) if any1 was gonna ask.

I noticed best buy has the most stock while toys r us are limited to a few. I don't check target and only 2 walmrts near me have like maybe 2-5 when i visit

I dont know why is it so hard to believe that the Switch stock issues are over.

Some user reported that he visited several stores in his area and all of them had plenty of stock, minutes later another user replied "But did you go to every store in Texas?".

I mean, some people wont be convinced by anything.

What's the name of that user?

He's referring to me: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8653126

Are you referring to DaveTheMinion here? Because in the exchange being referenced, Dave did not post that "he visited several stores in his area". He posted:

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8653081

It's Dave the brought up the state of Texas, not I.

Also, I never asked Dave if he went "to every store in Texas", I asked:

Again, it was Dave that mentioned "in Texas, nearly every store", not I.

And finally, for the record, I'm a firm believer that the Switch's stock issues have largely been resolved. I base this on how scalping seems to have died down likely meaning Nintendo has been able to fulfill orders for Switch stock.

I'll also add that I have seen a healthy supply of Switch units at my local Target store. They don't stick around long though according to the Target employee there.

Guys, I get the price issue but there is no evidence that stock had anything to do with it. There isn't any evidence that Nintendo had more stock than PS4 either. You know how we know that? Because there was no massive Switch stock shortage. The only thing we know is that the PS4 at some point was sold out at most online retailers. And we could track store stock for PS4 at GameStop and BestBuy so we know there were limitations.

Also, if price was absolutely everything the Xbox would have won. There is no way in hell Nintendo only had 700k Switch's in November. So before we claim that PS4 undercut the Switch, what if we just said that the Switch was in fact less attractive to consumers than the PS4.

Well Switch has done well from the get go so there you go.

Funny how all of a sudden price matters 100%. Especially when we all (most) thought before release it wasnt going to do good. "$300 is too expensive" and its one of the highest selling gaming hardware year 1

The majority of people knew that it would do well simply because it is the 3DS’s successor while also being a cheap console. Sure it is doing better than most expected. And no matter what you say price makes a big difference. Also, the PS4 is one of the fastest selling when you consider WW sales, not just US when it’s actually not selling that fast. Ask yourself - how would the Switch sales in the US have compared to the PS4’s if the latter was released at $299?

I don't know what the argument was then? Did someone say beforehand that it didn't matter at all?

Gotcha, well Lawlight is using the whole 399 vs 299 launch align to put down switch sales. All im saying is price puts a huge factor into sales of course but if it were everything then sales of all hardware would be different. Sorry if its hard or my explanation is plan bad lol

I don’t know what you’re arguing there. So you agree that price makes a huge difference. No one said that price is everything so, again, not sure what you’re arguing against.

Lol no. Many were expecting Nintendo release a "real" 3ds successor also many still think that Switch is overpriced

Alot of ifs. What if switch launched at $250 instead? How about $150? How about $400?

And your wrong, majority thought it wouldnt do well at all back in the beginning of the year. All you do is need to find the threads back in jan/feb

Really. People were expecting Nintendo to have 2 handheld devices in 1 generation? Were you expecting that?

Your using ps4 price to your arguement against switch way to much. I mean can you use same arguement with 3ds? 3ds was at $169 at the same time frame and its still doing worse than the switch in the west
