Yes it is a feat, and looks like I have my answer.

Kinda funny that it being its 5th Dec is more important than the fact that this is its peak year up to now.

I don't even think Switch can do, I just did hypothetical to see the response he would give, and it is not to take away anything for the PS4. It was simple question, that really should have just been yes I would congratulate the switch.

If anything, a better discussion should be by how much did the PS4 win over the NS. Why that is relevant is that this win could negate every single monthly win the NS has had over the PS4 leading up to November. Kinda a big deal as some expected that on its first holiday period the NS would destroy the competition going off how its been winning NPDs of late. Well, that didn't happen.

28% of people voted for Switch to win in the NPD prediction thread and only 26% of people voted Switch to win in Tbones 1st/2nd/3rd thread. Seems like only a minority thought it would dominate last month.

But ya PS4 likely erased all of Switch previous month leads, it had an amazing month.

The Switch didn’t actually have any lead - the PS4 was still leading 2017.

in the US? I don't think it's likely. According to VGC only 33% of PS4's are sold in the USA. as Opposed to the 45% of the Wii.

Basically PS4 would have to sell 136.5m+ globally, assuming it's market ratio by region remains the same.

I don't think the Adobe report took brick and mortar into consideration.

No they didn't at all. They claim to cover 80% of online retailers and nothing else. And they used the word "prediction" like a rank and file VGC poster might use it.
