So, how is the gameplay? Oh yeah, nobody knows, who cares about gameplay in a game nowadays anyways, and how is the plot? Oh yeah, nobody knows either, probably won't make any sense as usual but is Kojima, it must be good :P

Parts of that trailer are actually playable.
It’s a sci-fy horror, lovecraftian, time and reality switch, open world stealth game...what’s there to not understand?! /s

IKR? XD So its gonna be an actual game and not an interactive movie? Cool then, so far it looks pretty intriguing but I wouldn't get myself too excited knowing as little as we know.

Me and half of the gaming comunity, but we all know how Metroid Prime works because there has been 3 before that xD
And lol at your overreaction for such a simple comment, as I said in the next one it looks intriguing but we just know too little to get this level of hype about something we don't even know how it works.

Interesting. The baby also seems to be a kind of power source for that seeking/protecting device! When the dying guy passes the baby to Reedus, his own device activates. And yeah, those dream catchers seem to play an important role. Stuff like time switches, alternate realities, death and yes dreams seem to be the main themes.

Yeah. The idea of the baby being a source of life and draining time from the baby for time of your own seems to be a popular theory. I know some people are also thinking that you actually play as the baby who is essentially a parasite who uses other people as hosts. An interesting concept but rather weird.
Though my theory could still work that you are retrieving a specific baby by going into some other dimension to say a baby and the baby's you find there are whether dying or on their way to being born. The one inside of Sam looked okay and perfectly happy. I get the vibe that the 2nd trailer takes place in the real world with some overlays and that trailer 1 and 3 takes place in another dimension that is connected with out own in a non-materialistic way. Actually the second trailer kind of did offer a huge clue with the audio and German speaking in the first release prior to the Low Roar version released the following day.
The term Death Stranding really could have 3-4 different meanings. That's really cool.

I wouldn't call it a "Power source", it seems more it's the baby's way of communicating by pointing out any dangers. Also, the baby seem to be able to turn into the black goo and back at will.
After seeing this trailer i'm not sure the term "Stranding" is referring to something stranding on a beach, but to "Strands" as some kind of connections. We can see "Strands" reaching down from the sky at the end of the trailer and Strands coming out of the giant creatures arms. There is also a strong theme of umbilical cords. There is the Kojima Productions Logo with the skull inside the helmet that represents an enemy in the game. "Death Stranding" may refer to the creatures taking over and controlling dead people by connecting to them with their "Strands"
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
