Totally fine by me. The less exclusives, the better for everyone.

Sony or MS didn't fund Bayo 2........ Why would they bring Bayo 3 to them?
Pocky Lover Boy!

Sounds like an excuse to me tbh. I mean sure, in an idealist world third parties wouldn't make exclusives but I think we've all grown past that at this point...
Edit: Kind of surprised though how much of a big deal they made of Bayonetta PC port and Vanquish and now PC gamers get nothing
Well, this thread quickly devolved into childishness, didn't it? I'm expecting to see someone post "na na a boo boo" next.

Yeaa
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
Hopefully this game will get the love the franchise deserves on the Switch. I believe I read Bayonetta 2 approached or topped 1 million on the Wii U, but this should perform far better assuming it's good.

Stop acting so childish in Nintendo threads.

If it weren't for Nintendo funding '2', there wouldn't be a '3' in the first place. And seeing as how this is exclusive, it means one of three things:
1) Nintendo paid Platinum to keep the game exclusive.
2) Platinum is showing continuous gratitude to them for funding '2' AND putting Bayonetta herself in Smash Bros.
or 3) Nintendo funded the development again.
More than 1 of these things happening is also possible.
So, if you want to blame someone for that, blame Sega for not supporting the IP after the first game.

Could be The reason why it's exclusive to Nintendo is because they published it so it didn't necessarily mean that Bayo would remain Nintendo exclusive |
Nintendo may not own the Bayo IP but they do own the code for Bayo 2. They now will own the code for Bayo 3. Sony or MS could still publish Bayo4 if they wanted. They would have to ask Nintendo to bring 2 and 3 over however, which won't happen. I wouldn't be shocked if Nintendo at some point just buys the IP or at least 50% of it liek they did with Fatal Frame.
