Glad to see you found a set up that worked for you... I end up not playing when I can't use the TV even having PSVita. Been several months since I last used it. I really like the big screen.

Unless you are a mind reader, then we shall go by what he have written. And that is that he only plays at bed before sleeping, not that he started playing in the couch on the main room and kept playing while going to bed.

He could play the same few minutes in bed with X1 and PS4 just as fast.

Perhaps you understood his point your way, even with him not saying anything about this, so you can give more props to Switch?

I assumed he was giving an example, not that he exclusively plays in bed.

Plus lets put 2 and 2 together.

Yes, let's assume what favours your point.

If we are talking startup speed then i disagree with what I bolded.  The switch will have you in game playing again before the PS4 signal has even reached the TV.  It is almost literally 3 seconds from the time you hit a button until you are playing again.  I've always been really impressed how quickly the Switch comes out of stand-by mode.  Sorry I'm kind of splitting hairs, the PS4 is fast too just not as fast as the Switch when it comes to waking up or entering stand-by mode.

And yet, you’re doing exactly the same thing.

How do you know he has a Vita or a stable internet connection when hes not at home?

He is talking about playing in his bad, how is his internet relevant in this case? And I gave as first option just clicking the home button on the PS4 controller and it will turn on very fast already in the game.

But not everyone has their consoles plugged in all the time and not everyone has their TV near their bed .

Yep PS4 is fast, but not as fast as any tablet or cellphone to wake up. And if Switch do in 3s that is plenty fast... but not that it will matter if it take 3 or 20s to resume gaming.

Nope, I aint assuming anything, I'm going strictly by what he have written. If he meant anything different or left things unsaid then he have to say it... but I usually find it suspicious when people in VGC say they have several HW and buy a lot of games to it then never turn it on, like they have 0 consideration for money or only want to use the ownership to allow to talk bad about something.

Fair enough, but then we also have to assume that not everyone will have their Switch always charged up or their dock plugged to the wall =~]

You asked him why he doesn’t stream with the Vita. Where in his post did he said that he own a PS Vita ?  Didn’t you assumed he got one so you can push your point ?

That is great to hear. Nintendo just did almost everything right.
- A unified platform which means more games and better support.
- Great Marketing
- Great Games

What did they do wrong in your opinion?

For me its the price of the controllers, and "HD Rumble". But since its selling very well even with these 2 things, people probably dont mind it as much as I thought they would.

What exactly is wrong with HD Rumble? Its literally just a more advanced version of something almost all controllers have used for 20 years.

Nintendo gave it quite a good amount of time in the Switch Presentation. But now we dont even hear it getting implemented on the games.

You may want to look that up, im fairly certain a ton of games continue to use it such as Mario Odyssey.

Edit: Skyrim, Doom, L.A. Noire & Rocket League all use it and all 4 of those released in the last 30 days.
