So exactly how is the Federal government in control how a bank sell a loan.  So the federal government packaged up millions of dollar of subprime loans and sold them as AAA assets.  No, the federal government had no involvement in that scheme it was your Trusty banks who collected all this debt then decided to sell it off as fast and as lose as possible.  Those banks sold those subprime loans in a package designed to sell because they lied about what it contained knowing that the risk to those loans defaulting were high.  Since normal loans were regulated, those could not be bought and sold as commodities above the price they were bought unlike subprime loans.  They also could not be categorized as AAA assets unlike subprime were during that time and sold 100 times more than their worth.  Because those banks falsely claimed and sold those mortgages as investment with a return way higher then they were worth, when those mortagates went belly up, a lot of business found themselves in possession of garbage, not the high quality AAA assets they were promised.  You say no bank would support subprime mortgages and you are right no bank would if they knew that is what they bought.  Like I said, you need to do your homework better.

So you are saying that companies, governments and industries paying billions of dollars within these lobby groups are wasting their money.  They are just throwing that money away and its not getting them what they want.  You seem to be a businessman but you seem to be really quick to dismiss such investment.  Whatever, no one just spend money for no gain.

The scotus has gotten too powerful if the fate of our country hinges on one robe. And the “tie breaker” for every single issue, it’s pathetic. I support terms limits on scotus justices and every other politician. It should be mandatory.
