NPD Wii - If VGChartz is close which it has been lately it probably seems like considering recent months, well then according to VGChartz data Wii will have sold almost 700,000 for the month of March 2008.  That is an incredible amount.

I don't know if many people calculate things by month and I'm sure sources all platform comparison will be very interesting... but 700k in MARCH - will DS be higher? Probably not... amazing.

Eh, Wii should have sold more than that. At least 400,000 more than that! What ever happened to the 1.8 million that Nintendo was making every month. Is the demand of the Wii not great anymore?

Where did you get 700k from?

I get 493,162 and that is North America. NPD is US only which will make their numbers about 440k.

NPD is US only, rest 15%.

700k would definetly be a record for March. But I doubt it. I"m thinking more around 450k-500k.

 stockpiling - demand in NA is as high as it's ever been - if not higher

pretty high numbers for wii hardware, I think the Ds would be around the same number
