Looks like stock isn't as much of an issue for the Switch.

I'm gonna have to call BS on what Normchacho said. I was in one of the Targets downtown Chicago buying paper wrap for gifts and found a shelf with 6 PS4s just sitting there no one close trying to grab them.

How are you gonna call BS on an anecdote 😂 Especially when your anecdote is one example compared to hundreds of forum posters stating the opposite. Go online and try to order the Black Friday ps4, it's all sold out d:

I work at a Target that's super busy on Black Friday (#1 on the North East last night) and we thought Sony was crazy sending us 300 PS4s...they were gone in less than 6 hours.

For those asking about Switches, we got 170 and we currently have about half of them left.

I am curious how Switch did sales wise on Black Friday week versus previous weeks in November. Did sales increase, decrease, or were sales generally the same? I am curious because at this point I think the system might be losing momentum due to its price and the price of its competitors (at this point I worry it will become another Wii U or GC situation in terms of sales). Any insight on that based on what you have seen would be much appreciated.

Lol, then he says there was a shelf with 6 PS4s that no one wanted, yet to prove it he took a pic of 2 PS4s.

Not gonna get into this argument, but  a friend that's living in Boston said that he went to his local target to buy some stuff and they had 6 ps4 left.  He said a guy came in and got all six lol

Not all Targets are going to be the same my guy. Judging by the way those are displayed it looks like that's a pretty low volume store, which is way different than the store I work in (we do over a million dollars in sales on Black Friday)

That's a piece of a conversation I had with my coworker who opened Thursday (I opened Friday) where he tells me that our store manager said we had less than 50 PS4s left in the whole building less than 3 hours after we opened.

This isnt a great pic of Wednesday night because I didn't expect I'd be using it as evidence or anything, but what I did was put out all of our Xbox Ones and Switches (which are both obscured by the cardboard boxes unfortunately) and filled the rest of that space with PS4 Slims. The stack is 4 deep, 5 high, and 8 long with 11 stacked upright on top. The plan was to sell those 171 on Thursday night and then save the rest for Friday and Saturday. But, we blew through those so quickly that our store manager decided to just sell them all that night.

I'm not suggesting that what happened at our store is representative of the whole country, I was just sharing my experience.

Bonus: Here's a picture of 110 Switches I unboxed Wednesday night (we already had the other 60)

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I was at target tonight and they only had a couple of PS4/Xbox consoles. No switches. No idea how many they initially had.

It's obviously going to vary depending on where you are, but we've been able to keep a fairly stable supply of Switches since...late September ish. Not that we don't sell them, we've just been getting them in a steady stream.

Best Buy only had Star Wars/ COD/ Pro 1TB ps4 skus. No $199 1TB. Had a small stack of X and several S bundles of madden and $189 S. Didn’t see one switch.

Don’t worry about him man. He probably doesn’t want to believe it due to an agenda. The rest of us appreciate your experience and info.

I can't, you're really hilarious. Sry, but I need to do this one more time and than I will stop:

Actually, what he’s saying isn’t crazy. An insider on resetera said exactly that—that Sony likely had a set/limited amount of consoles they were willing to sell at the $199 price point, and that’s why they didn’t ship more.

Considering they put only a specific model at discount for BF, what is preposterous about thinking they only planned to sell a specific amount of that model?

This was on Kerotan account, because I made same that point (that they probably only want to sell a certain amount at that price point) and than Intrinsic start arguing with me about that point, and than Kerotan reply to me that Intrinsic made valid point even Kerotan made same point like me earlier that day. :D
