Yes sure... you never enter threads of Sony games to talk bad about them... how could I ever imagine this. Oww I know, must be because more often than not you are doing that.

What does this have to do with GT Sport? Are you saying Polyphony designs patches and content for people who supposedly have zero interest in the game? LOL. Like I said feel free to attack the person instead of the argument but at least try to not be full of shit when you do :)

Your ‘argument’ is, that the game has not enough singleplayer content, even though it was marketed as an online game from day one.

The game STILL has over 30 races, including endurance races plus a more flexible and extensive arcade and custom race mode than ever. You complain about the game being what it was announced to be. The game is not as short on content as you make it out to be, it’s just differently organised as it was in earlier games. There are easily 20-40 hours in singleplayer already.

That said PD has STILL decided to offer a traditional GT Mode style career as an update next month! I’m sure people will still find something else to complain about, especially the ones not owning the game...or even the console.

I feel sorry for you if you consider that an essay, LOL. And yeah, I’ve seen the list of what is in Mission Challenge, I’m aware it’s got quite a few 1-3 lap races in there. Are these supposed to replace a traditional (real) career mode? How the game ties your online and offline career into one is irrelevant to me. I wouldn’t play the game online, so who gives a crap. The Sport mode is a collection of license tests... you’re literally doing one off challenges and trials and missions in order to get a license. Please continue your semantics though.

Ive always been a huge GT fan. But if you need to tell yourself I have these issues because of my sig, go ahead. I mean, it’s not as if Polyphony is beginning to add features to appease people like me or anything. Oh wait that’s literally why this thread exists. If if makes you feel any better I haven’t bought Forza either, can’t support that franchise with its shitty DLC practices and loot box shenanigans :)

Haha, the ironic part is that you don't even get a license in GT Sport! You can start Sport mode any time you want, just need to start the 2 videos of racing etiquette before it unlocks. That's it, watch a tutorial, nothing else.

You never have to touch single player and you never have to touch multiplayer if you don't want to. All you unlock in single player is more single player content. All you unlock by leveling up is more tracks to choose from in arcade mode, and you can level up by playing exclusively in arcade mode. It's not like previous GTs that you need to pass a license test to unlock more content.

Ofcourse it will be appreciated online if you have first familiarized yourself with the tracks and proper passing procedures, yet if you don't want to you can always play bumper cars with SR E players. Racing with other SR S is much more fun though, I'm almost starting to develop some trust in other players not to always cut me off and hit me from behind. It's starting to work!

Having briefly tried the new patch today in one race, I'm cautiously optimistic with the changes to GT Sport mode races.

It now also shows the lag each player has. Not that it helps, but it's a good warning to stay clear from high ping racers.

When you or the person hitting you gets a penalty it briefly displays the reason. Too briefly and too small as you don't have time to pay attention to that but at least the effort to make it more transparent is there. I only got hit once so way to early to notice any improvements.

The result screen now shows your finish position, how many places you moved up (or down) and what I expect is your starting position based on your best lap time. Good for me as I don't really enjoy qualifying and rather race from the back climbing up and this gives me some recognition for that play style.

They don’t mail you a FIA or whatever license for getting all silvers anymore?

yeah, go and shift the goal... pretend you don't generally talk bad about Sony IPs...

And where did I disagree that some people weren't satisfied with what GTS had to offer and the PD could have made the changes to make they happy (because it also could be just planned to be like this)

I don’t think you understand what shifting goal posts means LOL.

You said I post in threads talking shit about “almost all Sony IPs” and I’m telling you you’re wrong. No goal posts have been shifted :)

Still wondering what that has to do with GT Sport though.

You know they have this new thing called trophies nowadays. All the young kids love it. It even tells you how uber you are by showing the rarity percentage.

Eh, they ask for your email address to invite you to special events (online I suppose) if you're among the elite DR S drivers. My skill level caps out at DR B

Evidence shows the opposite, in most Sony threads you enter you are either talking bad about the game in discussion or brings other Sony games to criticize. Or when it is a general discussion about exclusives and you are very clear to point how Sony ones are worthless.

I played the FIA test for the first time yesterday... unfortunatelly I'm still on the low bracket...

Some shitheads spoiled like 2 or 3 of my decent timelaps with crashing me on the corners...

Worse offender was on the 1h endurance that I got AI ramming and spinning me ON THE STRAIGHTS... took like 5h to clear the race (won with only 3s advantage)... and I'm still sad they erased all our best times.

See, there you go buddy. Your post right there is a great example of shifting goal posts. You went from “you shit on almost every Sony IP” to “every Sony thread you enter”, which is a massive difference considering I only discuss a handful of Sony games, typically ones I have interest in or have played. Glad I could help you understand what shifting goal posts means. Please feel free to continue the off topic ad hominem arguments though.

So when you enter on Sony threads and piss on those games you aren't shitting on almost every IP??? Yeah right.

Don't pretend... you yourself admitted several times to like very very very few Sony games, and you don't ever miss the chance to talk smack about the ones you don't like... interesting that you say you only enter the threads of the games you have interest... would that be the interest to attack those games?

Does Sony only make a few IP’s? Because I don’t talk about many Sony games here. So if you’re claiming I shit on almost every sony IP, you’re saying Sony only has a handful of them. That, or you’re full of crap. Which one is it? I say good things about plenty of Sony IPs. Motorstorm, Last of Us, SOCOM, GT, God of War, etc. Which Sony IP have I “shit on” here aside from maybe The Order? A game that I got the platinum on, by the way :)

You’re letting your console warrior mentality confuse you. Legitimate complaints is not shitting on a game. Hope that helps. And be happy, because of GT fans like me voicing our opinions both online and with our wallets, good things are coming :)

But again, feel free to be upset about irrelevant things and derail.
