Yeh, i wouldn't put too much faith in that chart, it's about 2 months out of date now. If it were to be updated it would likely resemble the Amazon chart much more. 

 

Also do you not realise people buy Switch as Christmas presents too and if someone wants a Switch for Christmas, they are not gonna be impressed with a PS4, simply because it's cheaper. Iirc, Nintendo usually get the biggest HW spikes, relatively to their competitors. Nintendo make desirable Christmas presents, it seems. Again, a quick look on Amazon most wished list will confirm this to you. Ik Amazon isn't a stonewall indicator of what will happen but gives a very good guide/insight. It's good you are checking there. It means you are at least learning something!

Everybody is putting their bets on the table, mine is that the PS4 will sell more than the Switch when all is said and done, and i gave my reasons why.

At least, can someone compare the first year of the PS4 with this year for the Switch so the odds are more even?

Like i said, how in the hell will the Switch sell more than the PS4 when as of right now, the PS4 is outselling the Switch on a monthly basis taking into consideration the sales of the entire Planet Earth?

I would hate to disapoint you, but a lot of kids receive gifts that are different than what they requested. It can be either a different model of console or even a completely different type of gift.

So if a parent is looking for the Switch the child asked for, but it isn't available or if he find a X1 or PS4 cheaper and with games he could also like then there is a possibility of it changing what he was to buy.

Also yes Nintendo have good spikes on holidays, but curiously growups don't need to wait for holidays to buy what they want so are we implying that Nintendo consoles are for kids?

You literally just have to look through the last few pages of  this thread to see people saying that Nintendo released all their big games already making this its peak year.

Some people even said Switch would be done by 2020.
