mm switch and ps4 have been  very close almost every month in npd, we are talking 10-20k. there is no logical reason why it can't win december, people will be picking up gifts and ps4 is way cheaper with way more games. as for amazon lets look at the best selling games of 2017 on npd and compare to amazon best selling games of 2017, enough said.

Yeh, i wouldn't put too much faith in that chart, it's about 2 months out of date now. If it were to be updated it would likely resemble the Amazon chart much more. 

 

Also do you not realise people buy Switch as Christmas presents too and if someone wants a Switch for Christmas, they are not gonna be impressed with a PS4, simply because it's cheaper. Iirc, Nintendo usually get the biggest HW spikes, relatively to their competitors. Nintendo make desirable Christmas presents, it seems. Again, a quick look on Amazon most wished list will confirm this to you. Ik Amazon isn't a stonewall indicator of what will happen but gives a very good guide/insight. It's good you are checking there. It means you are at least learning something!
