Forums - Gaming Discussion - Doom Switch Comparision with other Platforms

This is honestly amazing considering the power consumption of the Switch. Truly some black voodoo engineering going on here. It surprises me more that the One looks so much worse than PS4...

I'll stick with the PC version. I honestly don't think this is the kind of game that takes advantage of the Switch's handheld mode. But hey, for a lot of people that will be a selling point. Just hope it works out and they get a lot of money.

Already pre ordered. I skipped out on getting it for PS4 so this is a new game for me. I went with Switch for the portability factor, and wow I am happy with how close it is to the other versions. Speaks volumes for the potential of future multiplats.

If that's what I have to sacrifice for portable gaming, I'm in. I hope more multiplatforms release in the Switch. I've already played Doom, but I'm willing to make my multiplatform purchases in the Switch, just because of portability.

i hope it does well, I already bought it on PS4 ... one of these days I might even play it (more disposable income than time).

Enjoy the game fellow Switchers.

Seems like a great port. This is most likely the best 3rd party game on Switch so far.

Keep in Mind Switch version is 30fps, the other versions are 60fps. So I guess it depends if you like to play with high framerates

No Nintendo gamer ever cared about framerate, they are the less relevant than anything else like an unussed mode on a game.

It's noticeably worse on Switch, especially in motion, but it still looks like a really good port.

I can't tell too much difference but it looks really good either way. I bought this, LA NOIRE & Skyrim when I got paid today. So hyped for Friday!
