Ok, so looks like UK launch for XB1X was better than expected... this makes me think of course:

1) NPD numbers for XB1X will be better than expected
2) If NPD numbers for XB1X are better than expected, AND switch is above it, at least on Amazon.. oooooooooooooh man, this holiday will be insane for the console.

Gonna bump my prediction for XB1X to 350-400K this month NPD. Still thinking around 500k for the S, so 850-900K is my guess.

Switch at 1 million is a lock at this point... probabily gonna be closer to 1.1 million. Maybe it can really beat the PS4 even with stock issue, this is insane.

Is the Switch really having the stock issues still? I mean for like the past 2 weeks now I have seen them readily available in store at 3 different Targets, 2 Walmarts and 1 Gamestop......and I have been in the Gamestop multiple times along with 1 of the target stores and 1 Walmart store.....Heck 4 of my coworkers have got them recently and 1 got 2 for her 2 boys.

So is it online that the stock is an issue? Because in store they have been easy to find at least for me here in the US.....I know my personal experience is not definite proof but I could swear I have seen many others saying the game thing.

Again people this is just a question don't kill me. I was just really curious that's all. because It is selling a TON right now and I thought that was due to it being readily available along with the release of SMO.

The $189 deal (along with the $199 PS4 deal) will push an insane amount of units on Black Friday.  The S will most likely sell over 500K Black Friday week alone.

It isnt as cut and dry as it looks. You know all those pre-order sales Xbox One X, in august and september?

All these pre-order will add up with november sales for this month. NPD doesnt include any of the pre-order in the month they were pre-ordered, but rather the month they were released. X1X august pre-orders werent counted for the month of august, but for the month of november.

On a serious note, stock issues are mostly resolved in most areas of the world.  In the west, the stock issues began to resolve in the last 10 days of September.  Amazon took longer to get resolved for unknown reasons.  Could be Amazon is very easy for scalpers to buy large numbers through.  Could be Amazon took longer to up their orders or Nintendo had them lower on the priority list.  And also remember Amazon is huge but doesn't make up as big of a part of the games market as people think.

The only area where stock issues persist is Japan, but that's more crushing demand than stock issues at this point it seems.  

A couple of days ago Xbox one x was listed as "shipping in 1-2 days". Meaning they expected to have stock in a couple days. Then yesterday it was listed as in stock November 14. Now it's listed as temporarily out of stock. I expect this new listing to make it drop on the charts.

Well, in the end every years we see a 50$ drop in price during Black Friday.

2014 was kinda special because it was all month 350$ compared to the usual 400$
2015 saw a 300$ compared to the usual 350$
2016 saw a 250$ compared to the usual 300$

This year we'll see 189$ (instead of 199$ but i don't think 10$ will matter that much) compared to the usual 250$, nothing really new.

Also to be fair i expect pretty much almost every XB1 S sold in the month being sold during Black Friday, like, not really ALL of them, but probabily a good 80% of them, the rest of the month won't be strong for S because of Xbox one X.

By the way, i still think S drop will be pretty hard compared to last year. What really surprised me are XB1X sales which are better than expected, so if before i was thinking that a lot of Xbox one would have been S, now i can see a very close percent.

Also yeah i thought Switch was already head this month... well, i guess is still good to have them pretty close, expecially when PS4 is nowhere at this level for now.

Also doom is about to drop out of the chart, seems it didn’t do as well as I expected. Skyrim on the other hand is looking strong; it’s higher now, days before release, than doom ever was.
