I almost want to cry, but I should've thought it through before pressing the button. No, the Switch will not only sell 30 million units, and no, Nintendo is not doomed anymore. I was 99% wrong, and I am willing to admit to that. So Rol, for once, you can roast me until I'm burning in lava. A tribute to myself:

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Hey, admitting your own mistakes is actually laudable, not everyone is willing to do that. Any thoughts about coming into the Nintendo side of things? . It's a cool place to be.

I need a Switch, but I also need the Xbox One X (even though I can only afford one of them). I'll probably just spend the money I've saved for Christmas on family and stuff like that, and decide by the time my birthday has come along.

I must admit that I probably was wrong about switch as well. I feared that it’s pricetag will drag the sales down which will lead the switch to sell 60 million LT max. Even before this year’s end I think it is pretty safe to say that switch will definitely sell way more than 60m units.

Well, to 60 million it is a long way. It probably will sell more, but it could slowly down after PS5 and XB0 release, let it fizzle out before 60M. Although unlikely at this point it is a possibility. Depends on how Nintendo and 3rd-parties will support it ongoing.

Switch is doing a lot better then most expected, pre-launch I didn't see the Switch doing very well at all. From launching with only one game to care about, and a port being the next game on the horizon, the addition of paid online looming and lower power and a higher price then rumoured.

There were plenty of reasons to doubt, but the reasons were unfounded.

Well, Nintendo is still doomed if it only sells 31 million.
