My first contact with videogames was at the age of 06, with my sister´s Philips Telejogo ( A Brazilian Pong clone, with just three games and no detachable joysticks )
My first actual console came when I was 12, as a birthday gift from my parents. It was a CCE Turbo Game (another Brazilian console, but this time it was a Nintendo clone, compatible with both 60 and 72-pin cartridges).
Before that , I occasionally played on my brother´s Atari 2600, on a friend´s Sega Master System, or on arcades on my neighbourhood - Ms. Pac Man, Xevious, Green Beret, Commando, Traverse USA were the most common games back them. I also played a lot of Mega Drive (Genesis) and SNES games at game/movie rental stores.
The first console I bought myself was a Nintendo 64, at the age of 18. I still have it and it still works !

I used the Commodore and Spectrum... Will this suffice?

Technically my first console was a playstation, that I only got to play at my dads house (although it later migrated to my house). I must have been about 6.

My first console that I rightfully owned was a gameboy color that I got for christmas when I was 10 years old. I got either The legend of Zelda:Oracle of Ages, or Pokemon Crystal with it, but I'm not quite sure wich one it was anymore...

I was 7 when I got some clone NES knock-off, then after two years I got Sega Mega Drive. It was 1995. Difficult time in eastern Europe for a gamer.

Test.

1st console I remember in my house was ColecoVision (with expansion module for playing Atari 2600 games) at 6 years old. 1st console I remember receiving as a gift was Atari 7800 at 11 years old. 1st console I was ecstatic about receiving as a gift was the NES at 12 years old.

My earliest game ever played was Dangerous Dave on MS-DOS.

My first console however was the SNES with Donkey Kong Country.
