My prediction  whas always  around mid-end  2020 or beginning  of2021-

It will depend on when they'll launch a PS4Pro Mini. After that, you either make a PS4 SUPER Pro, which will piss off both regular and Pro owners, or just release a PS5. Then again, they could always release a new console sooner if they add backwards compativility "It's a PS4 AND a PS5". But I doubt it, backwards compatibility is a feature companies are trying to phase out to sell us on streaming, cloud gaming and other similar services.

expected, there is no reason to rush PS5.

PS4 will still be selling comfortably above 10m next year, and approaching 100m in 2019. Last of Us II, FF7, Shenmue III, Death Stranding all won't be ready before 2019, and some may be 2020. And if they wait they can make it a bigger jump for the same price

Just like how the PS2 was along side PS3, and PS3 along side PS4 for some years before they hit the bucket. Expected.

PS4 "should" be over 100m by end of 2019, unless something goes reeeeally wrong with sales.

But yeah its expected, when sales are going as they are, you dont rush out to replace the system.
