Knack 2 or New Super Mario brothers?

A lot of people treat the NSMB series as fun, but highly flawed. Knack 2 is also given similar treatment, so I thought it'd be nice to see what people view as more enjoyable.

Personally, I thought Knack 2 was neat and provided some solid hours for only $30. It didn't feel as dull as the NSMB series, so I'd personally choose to play it over any of the NSMB entries.

There's only one correct answer:

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

You know, I actually just finished Knack 2, and (all memes aside) it’s a fun and charming little game. Knack, himself, is a pretty cool character in my opinion, and the game is sweet and simple. There’s more variety in pretty much everything this time around, and it’s very pretty to look at, even if the fixed camera kindof hinders that.

I haven't played Knack 2 but NSMB allows me to pick up my friends and throw them into lava, bottomless pits and enemies. It's one of the most evil games ever made and I don't think Knack can top that.

I don’t like the 2D Mario games. The controls aren’t tight enough.

I've played about 4 hours of Knack 2, it's really fun to play with a friend. Can't comment on Mario, haven't played it.

NSMB is not highly flawed at all, is just very unambitious and after the third one just feels very redundant.

NSMB is comparable to someone who has a dull personality or life. They aren't necessarily flawed or undesirable. However, they lack any sort of charm that makes you WANT to be around them.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

NSMB wasn't really flawed, it was simply stale and not the new experience people were hoping for. It's a bit like watching the same movie again and again, with each viewing being less enjoyable; it still has all the ingredients of a great movie (or game), but familiarity has made it a bit dull.

I can't really vote as I've not played Knack 2, though, but I'd wager the NSMB games were superior if forced to choose.
