Personally, I thought Knack 2 was neat and provided some solid hours for only $30. It didn't feel as dull as the NSMB series, so I'd personally choose to play it over any of the NSMB entries. |
NSMB wasn't really flawed, it was simply stale and not the new experience people were hoping for. It's a bit like watching the same movie again and again, with each viewing being less enjoyable; it still has all the ingredients of a great movie (or game), but familiarity has made it a bit dull.
I can't really vote as I've not played Knack 2, though, but I'd wager the NSMB games were superior if forced to choose.
