The game feels more Happy Home Designer with small amounts of the AC gameplay. You have to travel around diferent areas and find Villagers, do quests for them until they are happy to move into your camp zone, You will gain exp the more quests you complete and unlocking higher rarer villagers to try and woo into your camp zone. At the same time you earn money, mining, creating stuff to build your collection.
Just like the real AC games the more quests you complete for each villager will net you their pictures.
This game has a surprising amount of depth. I don't think you need to spend any real cash to get ingame curruncy unless you have no patience so you are welcome to do this. So stuff that takes like 6+ hours to build can be completed instantly using real currency etc.

There is a shopping zone where the goods change every few hours.

Fruit is only needed for villager quests

Maximum 105 items you can carry
