Forums - Nintendo - So where are all the SNES Classics Reggie promised?

Already bought by consummers who were even more hungrier than he SNES Classic.

I mean they did send way more SNES Classicat the launch then they did with the NES Classic, so it's not like he lied to us, people are just buying like crazy in certain areas

They did provide more at launch but there is still no excuse.  They ceased production of NES Classic in March or so and switched to the SNES.  There should have been millions of units ready.

I don't have an SNES Classic but I'm confident that I'll be able to get one at retail for $80, eventually.

I'm glad to see someone in thread still has hope.

They're on the SNES Classic :P

Honestly, between these new mini consoles and all the Nindies, I wouldn't really miss VC games, unless they have a really robust online system incorporated or something.

Well considering you have to use a smartphone app to be able to talk to other people I wouldn't say their online approach is desirable.

They're in Hong Kong
All the game stores still have NES and SNES minis over there. American and Japanese versions.

''Hadouken!''

We have alot in stock at my local, I counted at least 20 units on the shelf. Maybe I should buy some and resell them :P

Don't forget, the NES classic is supposed to come back, too.

Great I can't fucking wait for another return of barely any units shipped compared to demand.

You probably could make some money selling them on ebay to USA right now.  Perhaps you should take advantage of their lack of ability to ship units properly to different territories.  If you can buy them for 70-80 dollars then sell them in USA on Amazon and ebay for 180.  I'm sure you can make money even with paying for shipping.  Hell, you could probably make them pay for shipping.

New and used sitting at $141 now.  Better act quick before Nintendo actually acts competent enough and actually ships correct amount of units.
