The Xbox One is slowly and steadily turning into a PC.

Is that a bad thing?

Yes.  It potentially causes market confusion.  You might as well just buy a PC after a while.

Is that a bad thing.

Do we really need to seperate: consoles from handhelds, from PCs.
If you are playing the games, and spending money; the corperations don't really care.

Microsoft makes more money from Windows, than they do off Xbox anyway.

How does this cause market confusion.  In MS eyes, whether you purchase a Windows PC or a Xbox console you are still in their ecosystem.  Console will be a closed system while the PC would be an open system.  If anything it would be smart for MS to make Windows so that you can boot into a console type environment where you do not need all of the processes that usually run to increase performance.  Actually I believe the already have this in Windows 10, they just need to improve it.  I also believe it would be smart if MS allow steam and maybe other services like steam on their next box.  I doubt they would as it would eat into MS Store but it probably would definitely sell more Xbox consoles.

That makes it even less of an incentive to invest in Xbox then.

What games will this work on? Options for controlls are good, PS4 mouse games are very limited however.

Hmm, pie.

Never seen this complaint for the PS4 since it has had Keyboard and Mouse support for years.  Even 3rd party hardware like the one in this picture.  Is it only an issue when MS support the same feature??

The PlayStation brand is more marketable than the Xbox brand.  Also, the Xbox One is struggling to keep up with the Switch and the PS4.  So, yes, it's only an issue with Microsoft.

Are you seriously suggesting that by this logic it makes it okay for the PS4 to have mouse/keyboard support but not okay for the Xbox One to have the same feature?

The Xbox One needs all the help that it can get.  It just needs to put more of their eggs in a certain basket to help distingish itself from the Switch and the PS4.  Then again it has but not so much that benefits them as the Switch and PS4 has seen success.

Xbox is known for their Halo and Gears game. Also PUBG coming up soon.

That is three big multiplayer games all that will benefit from using a keyboard and mouse.

What big multiplayer games for Sony can you name that would benefit from keyboard and mouse? Call of duty?

Destiny 2, Uncharted (multiplayer portion), Red Dead Redemption 2.
