Are you seriously suggesting that by this logic it makes it okay for the PS4 to have mouse/keyboard support but not okay for the Xbox One to have the same feature?

The Xbox One needs all the help that it can get.  It just needs to put more of their eggs in a certain basket to help distingish itself from the Switch and the PS4.  Then again it has but not so much that benefits them as the Switch and PS4 has seen success.
