Not really, its a tightly formed PR statement, what did you expect them to say... they have to be very careful in a response because the more you put into a reply statement the more chance you have of someone picking something out of it and using against you... sounds like you've already made your mind up about who is in the right or wrong here?

As Gribble has said, we really need to see how this plays out. Could there be someone like this in a company, yes, could the person making the complaint be lying, yes. Seriously the internet being judge and jury isnt very pleasant.

There's not enough evidence to suggest that the accuser is telling the truth or the accused is telling the truth. There's even the possibility that both the accuser and accused are lying, and the truth is somewhere in between the two stories they claimed. One thing's for sure is that it's a really bad idea to merely 'listen and believe'.

How so?  If they're lying then, yes, it's obviously bad, but if they're telling the truth then this is exactly what they should have said.

Wow. Their response is a flat out denial. Of course, they could be denying it if it was agreed upon that it wouldn't be mentioned, but that's a huge risk at this stage. The accuser sounds like he'll have to provide more evidence. It's gonna suck though since it's him vs. the entirety of Sony, who's gonna go through every expense to cover their asses.

Before people go on about rape culture or whatever, we should seriously just wait for all evidence
