Oh well, I've been suckered into paying to see every new SW release since Phantom Menace, though I skipped out on Rogue One (and thank God that I did, what a complete waste of everyone's time that movie was!), so I'll probably plunk down my hard earned dough for this one as well. |
The best (and arguably, only good) Star Wars movie in over 30 years was a waste of time?

Seriously? People really like the official Star Wars fan film that much?? I watched the movie when it came out on Blu-Ray, and I'll never get those 2 hours and 15 minutes back. The first half was such a snorefest it made Blade Runner look exciting, the characters have as much depth as a puddle, and in the end after the Star Wars fan service settings get turned up to 11 and the credits roll, you're wondering what the hell was the point of making a feature-length film based on a throwaway line of dialogue in the original. All that just to take us to approximately an hour or so before the original SW movie kicks off, and all the characters that we just met in the previous 2+ hours of fan service are now all dead. Yay.
I'd honestly rather re-watch Phantom Menace 10x in a row than ever have to suffer through Rogue One: A Fanservice Story again.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
