Here you go mate.

I have literally never heard of that website before.

Anyways I went on Amazon to get Fifa 18 on Switch a few days ago it was out of stock. Looking at it now it says they won't be in stock until October 9th and it says;

"Note: Please note, due to stock limitations from the supplier we are unable to deliver any further orders of FIFA 18 - Nintendo Switch for release date. We expect to deliver orders placed today by October 13th, and will confirm an exact release date as soon as possible. If you've already placed an order for this product please check “My Orders” to confirm your expected delivery date."

So clearly there is something going on with stock.

I'm in AU and I've bought stuff from there. Otherwise Argos has it in stock.

Must just be the UK or more specifically Northern Ireland then. The most popular ones there are GAME, Amazon, Argos and Tesco. Don't know of anyone ever using ShopTo. But nonetheless if your game is out of stock at any of the big major retailers there is a problem and you'll want to reach that demand.

Wait. You are telling me that when it is public knowledge that a version is feature stripped it will get blown out in sales by other versions?

Also doesn't help when you try to say only features tied to the engine switch are missing but then others are missing and your answer to that criticism is a flippant "we don't want to overwhelm Switch customers" with the complexities of your freaking soccer game.

I can't agree with that thinking. People have bought the Switch in their droves and I doubt that every single one of them had a PS4 or an XB1. This only shows us that Nintendo fans are still rather single minded in what they purchase for their consoles

You trying to say said fans only buy Nintendo games?...

The most strange thing was that FIFA 18 for Switch ran out of stock in Amazon UK during the release day, so if the game was a totally bomb, EA was expecting it and sent few stocks to the retailer?

BTW, about Amazon ranking, I was following FIFA for Switch during the last week and it did well in France and Spain, not so well in Italy and bad in Germany (now is out of stock too), UK, Japan, USA and Canadian. Could we hope that France save this version from a total fail? I know that the Amazon ranking isn't an indicative 100% accurate, but at least it is an indicative.

If someone cannot find the game at Amazon UK, they'll buy from another one of those retailers. But I'm pretty sure most gamers in the UK know shopto.

I have literally never heard of that website before. Not sure if many people in the UK use it.

If it was 2012 I don't think it was that well known, but Shopto is fairly well-known these days imo. It's one of my go-to sites for games.

Doesn't bode well for future support. I didn't think it would do big numbers but these are much lower then what I thought.

Half a million almost on ps4. Does that include digital? Huge numbers either way.

FIFA Switch has a physical version out already? I've been waiting for it and nba2k to have physical versions, didn't think they did yet.

I think what's being lost on some people is that there are over 8 million PS4 and & XBox One owners combined in the UK compared to a little over 245 thousand Switch owners  (just going off this chart http://www.vgchartz.com/yearly/2017/UK/):

PS4 -   498,600  (10.82% of PS4 owners in UK)
XB1 -  307,470  (   8.02% of XBox One owners in UK)
NSW -    8,310   (   3.39% of Switch owners in UK)

Is that suggesting the 360 version actually outsold it? :O

Also, why is there a 360 version there but no PS3 version?

The 360 has always been more popular in the UK than the PS3. I wouldn't be surprised it wasn't even released there. Mainland europe probably had it though.
