Forums - Politics - Trump says Rex Tillerson 'wasting his time' with North Korea negotiations

Wrong!

It's obvious that she didn't consider the other viable possibilty, genocide ... (wiping out all of North Korea including it's citizens is just as valid of a solution as diplomacy, sure it's not the humanitarian's preferred way but humanitarianism be damned when we are talking about sovereign nations)

Sure cause letting people suffer the oppression that NK forces on their people under the pretext of "it's a sovereign nation, they can do whatever the hell they want with their people" is a very "humanitarian" approach. Kudos for that.

Kim Jong just wants to hurt us. Doesn't want money, doesn't care about his own, just wants to hurt us. END OF STORY. We have to attack him and destroy him fast as possible.

Sure, he wants to do it, and the only motive he needs is because he's EVIL!

I never implied that it was the humanitarian approach, just a valid one ...

The Trump Regime blunders through every situation as incompetently as possible, so it's no surprise that the Fuehrer's unbroken chain of bad decisions is continuing as predicted. West Korea vs North Korea will be an historic Gong Show.

If every country just lets NK be and allow them to do their thing there wouldn't be nuclear tensions to begin with.

The ideal scenario would indeed be reunification. Mainly for cultural and linguistic reasons. I would like to see that happen, but with Trump on the helm, i can only fear the consequences.

It's more so because of history than it is with Trump ...

I guess if people want reunification so much then it be lead by North Korea rather than South Korea ...

Also, i'm convinced he has already decided to attack. Many of us think Trump is often not serious, but he has proven time and again that he will try to follow through, no matter the cost to his country and people, much less others.

I'm not convinced, Trump hasn't stated any plans to attack ... (I guess he's going for the silent treatment instead of diplomacy)

Him attacking North Korea costs almost nothing for America but it will cost Japan and South Korea the most ...

If Tokyo and Seoul fall because of nuclear strikes than that will surely hurt the world economy. Including the economy of the US.

Sure but the only american lives that would be lost are the ones stationed in the US bases on South Korea or Japan ...

North Korea is a bigger threat to the civilians of South Korea and Japan than it is to the civilians of america ...

North Korea continuing to use test sites near surrounding countries can't be an option so the easiest solution would be hostile takeover of North Korea by China ...

NATO in east asia could be guaranteed peace for at least another 2 or 3 decades if they let China have North Korea instead of chasing the dream of reunification along the Korean peninsula lead by themselves ... (the sooner the US and South Korea stop objecting to this idea the better it is for achieving peace)

Thank you
