No doubt Mario will outsell Zelda, but 5 weeks VS 1 week? Gonna be hard. November+October, we are definitively gonna see some big numbers, probabily 1.5-2.0 million.

Also, i talk about total sales, so digital + physical (makes no sense to predict only physical when we will most likely know the numbers from Nintendo which will include digital).

Gonna say 800,000 for October, and 900,000 for November (expect big legs on the second month with Black Friday and bundle).

[AUG 2002] Super Mario Sunshine (1 week)- 350,000
[NOV 2007] Super Mario Galaxy (3 weeks) - 1,120,000
[MAY 2010] Super Mario Galaxy 2 (1 week) - 564,000

BONUS:
[NOV 2011] Super Mario 3DLand (4 weeks) - 625,000
[NOV 2013] Super Mario 3DWorld (2 weeks) - 215,000

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Zelda sold 900K just on Switch. It sold another 450k on Wii U.

Nobody is calling for a price drop. The reason I initially asked if anyone has suggested Sony drop the price is because it used to be a regular occurrence in the Amazon threads if they fell behind for a while. The ironic thing, and what we're discussing, is the probable price drop because of all the new model announcements and the coming Christmas battle. Now is the time. Before it was just jumpy Sony fans.
