Forums - Sony - is Sony making too much conferences during the year?

It's very simple Sony has primary conferences that being PSX and E3 (in that order). Two secondary conferences targeted at the Western and Eastern Audience PGS and TGS. Finally Sony has some very small events from time to time. But if you watch only for the big announcements you can only watch E3 and PSX and don't miss a single thing.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Doesn't bother me. I don't care for Japanese style games mostly so I can ignore pretty much everything but E3 anyway.

What needs to stop are entitled gamers who whine because there weren't enough "megatons" or because they aren't the intended audience for every single game announced.

First lets start with the title.
"Is Sony having too many conferences this year".

They have had the same amount of conferences for years now.

Plus why would you want less? Less reveals, less games, less information?
Or do you just want really really long conferences?

Multiple conferences throughout the year is a lot better than just one or two at the beginning/middle.

no, i meant that if sony would make only two conferences, they could concentrate more announcements on 2 shows, what would mean more new game announcements and more suprises, but it's only my opinion

Too many conferences because there's too many games for PS4.

Would love to see a PC conference every month

No. Not every conference is supposed to appeal to you. PlayStation is a worldwide brand spanning all flavors of life so they need to have targeted marketing for each of these demographics.

The possibility that all of these conferences can appeal to one single individual is nothing short of excellent and why they're in the lead.

i don't know why you mean that every conference should appeal to me, that's not what i said

p.s. don't be rude only because in the WWW you didn't have to see the other person in face

Playstation has fans from all over the world with interests in every genre of games. So if they have things to show fans that are interested, then no.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

I would too! I'm way behind on my PC games and there's just too many to keep track of so having PC conferences would be nice to give highlights of the big PC games coming out.

You know I was joking at first but honestly, this is something that has needed to happen for a long time. PC gaming is now very competitive and has a big install base and there's so many really popular games on PC, it's not exactly like the platform needs exclusives.

I want to see more of this D : http://www.battletechgame.com/

Dude wasn't being rude...just showing you that Sony's scope is beyond your own personal tastes.  There are several Nintendo Directs a year that are mainly 3DS focused that I coudln't care less about, but I know there are many types of Nintendo fans.
