I can see vgchartz regaining it's old glory through the next few years if this is true. All the old nintendo fan boys will come out of hiding to savour the salty tears of fanboy meltdowns.

I was in hiding for 5 years after the wii u debacle.

I wonder what fanboy meltdowns, 'cuase ps4 is doing as good or better than switch, do you mean xbox fans?

Wow, so many older users coming back! Loving the concept.

I'll be more conservative and say that Switch will pass 100 million by the end of 2022.

Specialists really make the right predictions all the time right?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Still waiting for our deity Patcher

I would like him to say it will sell less than 50M and so we can be assured Switch will have a long and profitable life.

He should go with less than 30M so we can be sure it's going to be a massive crazy sucess !!

I don't think even he is as crazy to say that.

Nintendo Switch faces an uphill battle because of its "problematic" $299 price point and an "underwhelming" slate of launch titles, Wedbush video games analyst Michael Pachter has said.

Pachter says Switch hardware sales will reach one million in financial year 17, which ends March 31, although Nintendo has stated it will ship two million units in March. The following year Pachter forecasts Switch sales of five million units.

What's up with that? It's a good thing , it's just a bit strange to see so many people spontainiously return around the same time.

As for the op: I'm thinking no. Bit too optimistic.

I can actually see that happening.

All good signs for strong Switch sales
