It's a good argument for the horseshoe theory.

Horse shoe theory all depends on how you define 'left' and 'right'. I follow the understanding that left means big government and right means small government. Far right is anarchy, far left is totalitarianism. Both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were dependent on big government.

If you let the government get big enough, someone will always use it as a club to beat down their opposition. I'm a 'minimum government necessary' kind of guy.

Modern anarchism actually developed as a left-wing ideology.

I was referring to those who blame current problems on a Marxist conspiracy.

Yeah, there are a ton of those clowns. I'm a hardcore libertarian, otherwise known as an anarcho-capitalist.  Some of our circles are infested with right-wing douchebags that blame everything on "cultural Marxism", as though that's even a thing.

lol "No we arent authoritarians like the far right are" then in the very next line he says "They'll be reeducated over time....". I guess he has no self-awareness huh? i don't know if he's being serious or not with this stuff.

It's a good argument for the horseshoe theory.

What do you mean?

From my earlier post: "Contestgamer's points sounds like it could come from either the far left or far right if you change up a few points."

So I guess the same would have happened if the black guy did a "racist" immitation of a white american accent ?

In all seriousness, this is borderline stupid.

No, much like the Dreamers this one crossed the border. It is truley idiotic.

Yep... here is quite crazy... left guys ask for rappist and muderers to be freed because they are oppresed minorities and ask to send to jail someone that made a joke that they thought is racist...

Well, yes and no... big corporations get in bed with government and that is a very big talk point on not wanting anyone to have too much power.

I think its the best argument for limited terms. Presidents are good in that they can only be there for 8 years, 2 terms, but congress... You can have someone in their seat for like 60 years. If you don't think that someone holding some position in government for that long won't have some sort of shady deals, backhanded stuff, connections, helping out friends/relatives, ect.

Even if the person wants to be as ethical as they can be, in a position such as they will HAVE to deal with big corps in stuff. They will then build a relationship with that person and that relationship will subconsciously alter how their position is in regards to that person later.

Basically that... as a politician in Brazil said "diapers and politicians need to be constantly changed for the same reason''.

What was the joke?

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Not actually a joke.

British guy say to a american southern black guy in a southern accent if he want a regional corn dish... and that black guy also mocked his british accent. Someone not involved took offense in it.

Doesn't this ever get tiring to you?
Every other day you seem to post a story to rile people up and get everyone arguing over nothing.

In this case you reported a story omitting the fact that the reason of the firing being over a racial joke is no more than guesswork on the part of Reginald Mobley.
As for Matthew Halls, the University said Mobley's report was "incorrect", and gave him $90000 for his troubles. Guy seems like he's going to be fine.
Not exactly world going mad stuff.

However the particular story is irrelevant, what I find troubling is the trend of posting misinformed, incomplete or not up to date stories for the purpose of ragebait, on what is ostensibly a gaming forum.
These "stories" again mostly function as a reaction to non-existant "SJWs" backlash, and only foments anger as no actual discussion is taking place in the real world.
This only makes the forums look unfriendly and bent on "fighting the feminist/leftist/marxist agenda", which aren't exactly hallmarks of quality or of worthwhile discussion.
The forums would be better if you stopped using them as a place to dump your poor excuses to rail on "SJWs" and other strawmen.

Lawlight ignores facts to specifically make liberals seem bad??? The horror!

You're saying having multiple threads with blatant ignorance and nazism apologism on the front is actually a good look for the site?
Look at this thread and tell me if people here are criticizing an actual political ideology or rather making up one to be angry at.
These threads aren't for discussion, they are for pandering
