Games that use it properly:
BioShock. They couldn't have pulled that game off without the creepy vibe and violence.
MGS. It's a dark series.
God of War. Sure, the boobs are a little unnecessary, but as for the gore, it's meant to be a violent hack and slash. Rarely does it become immature.
Gears of War. The chainsaw did it. And the chainsaw is awesome.
Games that waste it:
Blitz: The League. It's beyond me why this game even exists.
Call of Duty 4. Sure, it's a great shooter, but they overdid it just a little. Having said that, in America, it seems that anything with a speck of violence or blood gets an M stamped on it. Dawn of War? Seriously? I'm amazed that Uncharted was a T.

I have a better question. Why aren`t games rated "children" then "youths" and then "adult?" Studies show no signs of connection between "bloody" games and violence in real life. And sexual content is the worst thing you can show in us. Why? Is a child mentaly damagded watching a boob?
Which "Mature" titles are actually immature?
Almost all of them.
"M" rated games are a very common misnomer as they tend to not be very mature at all.

Rockstar are massive perfectionists! At least now, they are. Four years to make a game? Seriously? I mean, they're no Polyphony Digital, but still!
God of War? Predictable? Did you finish God of War II? Can you honestly tell me you saw it coming that Kratos was Zeus' son?
God of War is hardly about story, it's about ripping things to shreds. It would be nothing without obscene levels of violence. It doesn't sacrifice gameplay for gore, it has both! That's why everybody loves it! (That last bit was directed at Naznatips, not you)
