Forums - Nintendo - Peach (Super Mario Odyssey) - E3 2017 footage VS Nintendo Direct Sept 13 footage

Typical Nintendo, always doing the opposite of the rest of the industry. When others do downgrades, Nintendo goes and does upgrades.

How can they expect to succeed?

Please excuse my bad English.

One of the few devs whose games actually look better as development progresses instead of worse.

Yeah I noticed that too; lighting, shadows, LOD and overall polish have improved markedly since it's E3 showing.

Switch Presentation top. Yesterday's Direct Bottom.

I know curl6 would be happy. The game seemed very lacking, and the improvements help greatly

Oh you know me so well. ;)

I am actually feeling much more optimistic about XB2 after this recent showing; finally we got good quality footage showing off a variety of interesting and attractive locations. For the first time I'm actually starting to get excited for this game.

"ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"

Smash hype!

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I remember a conversation from several months back where we both said it seemed similar to a generic anime. It now has a style to it that really sticks with it
