Yeah, I'd agree with this... don't buy new systems (especially full price) if you are so loaded on other systems.

Well I'm glad I can't be judge on my Nintendo account.  You can tear my Steam account to shreds though.  You guys are making a real good case for having an achievement system.

It's some kind of log of your history with games, IMO. It shows whether you liked the game, was it easy, how much time you dedicated, how much you went out of your way to get a trophy...

It's a nice feature to have and I don't see the resentment. In my case for example it shows the fact that I have mostly moved to 7th gen and on systems only recently - 1/3 of my trophies were earned in less than the last 1/2 year, while the account is 8 years old.

Yea, I don't mind playtime logs like the 3DS has or how Steam shows how many hours each game you played.  Comparing trophies or achievements has never been my thing.  Achievements have helped me realize which nations I haven't played as in Civ5 or which scenario I haven't tried yet for example but that is about the most beneficial thing they have ever done for me.

I love to know how much time i spend  with  games

For example  i dont  have a high rate for trophies  on nioh yet i spend about  150hours with it and still  playing.
