@Rock_on_2008 i actually have 3 hdtv's in my house (totally unnecessary to have so many i know) so i get use out of my hd consoles, but not too bothered about blu ray. i never bought dvd's and i doubt i'll start to invest in blu ray. altough occassionaly i do rent a blu ray title if i'm having a movie night at my house

im actually the opposite to you, i buy all games on ps3 thats where most of my time is spent, my 360 was sat there for ages, but i bought lost oddysee for it which is decent.
i also dont find anything on the shelfs at game or gamstation for 360 that i want, all the decent ones ive had already like gears, halo and mass effect
each to their own i suppose

I think I have spotted your problem. Buying both a 360 and a PS3 is a bit stupid. Its like having a 360 and a gaming PC.

Well you have to admit it is pretty good at collecting dust, with that shiny black surface and all!
Seriously though, owning both a 360 and a PS3 will probably leave one machine mostly unused, since there are so many multiplatform games between the two. It is one reason I am hesitating to buy a 360.

2 be honest i think that the exclusives that each one has is worth owning both. i mean 360 has halo, gears and lost odyessy. while ps3 wil have final fantasy and MSG. i guess i wish i jsut choose the timing of my purchase a little better thats all.

If you post just to insult a console it sort of looks like trolling.
I've also heard stories about how people have stored their Wii's away, or how their 360's are currently collecting dust.
It comes down to the personal tastes of the gamer. Perhaps you should have done more research on the titles being released on the PS3 before making a purchase. Or perhaps you should do more research on the current titles available on the platform, you might find one you'd like.
Lots of people purchase a PS3 expecting a HD version of every classic game of the PS2 to come out. Some people I guess get sick of waiting for these great games to arrive.
